Online Ordering β€” How It Works

Ordering Uncle J's Dirty Apron BBQ online is fast, straightforward, and available right here at unclebbq.com. This article walks you through the whole process from browsing the menu to getting your food.


Step-by-Step

1. Browse the Menu

Go to unclebbq.com/menu to see everything available. Items are grouped by category β€” proteins, sides, combos, and more. Each item shows a description and price.

2. Add Items to Your Cart

Click any item to add it to your cart. Some items have variations (size, quantity) β€” you'll be prompted to choose before adding.

Your cart total is always visible in the navigation bar. Click the cart icon to review what you've selected before checking out.

3. Checkout

At checkout you'll:

  • Choose pickup or delivery (see Delivery, Pickup & Scheduling for more detail)
  • Enter your contact info β€” used for order updates
  • Pay securely β€” we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover via Stripe

You do not need an account to place an order. However, creating a free account unlocks Pitmaster Rewards β€” points earned on every order.

4. Order Confirmation

After payment you'll receive an order confirmation email with your order summary and reference number. Keep this β€” you'll need the reference number if you ever need to contact us about your order.

5. Pick Up or Wait for Delivery

  • Pickup orders β€” your food will be ready at the counter. You'll receive a notification when it's ready.
  • Delivery orders β€” you'll get a DoorDash tracking link via email so you can follow your order in real time.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive a confirmation email. Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, contact us with your name and the approximate order time and we'll look it up.

I need to change or cancel my order. Once an order enters preparation it cannot be changed. Contact us as quickly as possible at unclebbq.com/contact and we'll do our best to help.

My payment was declined. Try a different card or payment method. If charges appear on your statement without a confirmation email, contact us immediately β€” we'll investigate and ensure you're not charged without receiving your order.

The ordering system says "online ordering is currently offline." We occasionally close online ordering during high-volume periods or when we're unable to fulfil new orders in a reasonable time. Check back in a little while or call us directly.
